To master any kind of presentation, the most important thing is to be well prepared. John\u2019s first valuable tip is to contact your meeting chair in advance so that you can learn about your audience and use the information to best interact with the participants.<\/p>\n
Another important point in previously contacting the chair is to give them details to help with your introduction and the audience engagement. This goes from the basic information of who you are and the topic you\u2019re going to talk about, to some questions they can ask you during your talk.<\/p>\n
After the preparation, it\u2019s time to focus on the structure of your presentation. John reminds us of the importance of adding value in the first minute of your talk to attract the audience\u2019s attention. This can be done by using a quote, for example.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also essential to give some attention to technical issues. Keep in mind the word CLAP so you don\u2019t miss these important elements to succeed in your video presentation: C \u2013 Content; L \u2013 Light; A \u2013 Audio; P \u2013 Position.<\/p>\n
